Auto-submit to casting calls on Actors Access, Backstage and Casting Networks
RolePilot checks the casting sites you connect, scores every new role against your profile, and submits you to the ones that fit. You set the rules. Pilot does the clicking.
Free for 7 days on Solo and Pro, then billed monthly.
Works with Actors Access, Backstage and Casting Networks, the casting sites most actors already use.
What is RolePilot?
RolePilot is an auto-submission tool for actors. It connects to your Actors Access, Backstage and Casting Networks accounts, reads new casting notices as they post, scores each role against your profile (playing age, location, union status and pay), and submits you to the roles that match your rules.
How auto-submitting works
- 01
Connect your casting accounts
Link the Actors Access, Backstage and Casting Networks accounts you already have. RolePilot works through your own memberships, and your logins are encrypted.
- 02
Set your rules
Pick a mode (Aggressive, Balanced or Selective), a daily cap, your minimum pay and the kinds of roles you never want.
- 03
Pilot submits for you
A new role posts, Pilot scores it, and if it fits your rules you are submitted. Every submission shows up in your Activity tab.
Submitting by hand vs. with RolePilot
| Task | By hand | With RolePilot |
|---|---|---|
| Checking 3 casting sites | One by one, several times a day | Pilot checks them for you through the day |
| New roles while you are on set | Seen hours later | Scored as they come in and submitted if they fit |
| Bad-fit roles | You read every notice | Match score, filters and skip list keep them out |
| Pay too low | Read the fine print each time | Set your minimum pay once |
| Knowing what got sent | Scattered across 3 sites | One Activity tab |
You stay in control
Modes
Aggressive, Balanced or Selective. The mode sets how strong a match has to be before Pilot submits.
Daily cap
Solo goes up to 10 a day, and you can set it lower. Pro and Studio have no daily limit unless you set one.
Minimum pay
Set the rate you need. Pilot skips roles that pay less.
Pause
Turn Pilot off for a vacation or a booked job, or set days off. Turn it back on when you are ready.
Questions actors ask
Can I auto-apply on Actors Access?
Yes. Connect your Actors Access account and Pilot submits you to roles that match your rules, alongside Backstage and Casting Networks. You keep your own Actors Access membership. RolePilot works through it and does not replace it.
Does RolePilot work with Backstage?
Yes. Backstage is one of the three casting sites Pilot works on, on every plan. Your daily and monthly limits count across all the accounts you connect, and on Pro and Studio you can split the daily cap between sites.
Will it submit me to roles that don't fit?
Every new role gets a match score against your profile, and it has to clear your mode's threshold and every filter before Pilot submits. Selective only submits strong matches. Your skip list blocks words and subjects you never want, and roles below your minimum pay are skipped.
Is my casting login safe?
Your casting logins are encrypted when stored and used only to work in your connected accounts: checking roles, syncing your submission history and submitting where your rules allow. You can disconnect any account from Settings.
Will RolePilot get me auditions?
Nobody can promise that. RolePilot gets you submitted to the roles that fit your rules, and casting decides who gets seen. It does not guarantee auditions, bookings or income.
