What to do

  1. Open Settings, Profile and review Location & Travel.
  2. Set your primary location to your actual working base and choose the travel options you can support.
  3. Under Pilot Behavior, review Primary location only.
  4. Enable Travel for jobs worth it only if you want qualifying travel jobs considered, and review its pay thresholds.

Good to know

Primary location only normally keeps matching in your home market. Travel for jobs worth it can allow exceptions. With that setting and Anywhere in my state turned on, work elsewhere in your home state is also considered.

The default travel tests are a $1,000 day rate, $750 a day with paid usage, or at least $2,000 guaranteed across two or more work days. Paid travel or lodging can also qualify. Paid multi-day union background work has an additional exception.

Local-hire restrictions and unpaid work do not qualify for these travel exceptions. Your minimum pay still applies. A remote job is different from a self-tape audition for an in-person shoot.

Keep in mind

Travel settings express what you will consider. Read the work location, dates and travel terms before making arrangements.
